The reality show “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” is a favorite of many who like the idea of a female version of “CSI”
This show recently became a spin-off of “Law and Order” with a sister show “Law and Order: New York” which focuses on the women police officers buy thesis in New York City. The show portrays a lot of male brutality which makes the female law enforcement officers, like Amanda Warren, a target.
I watched this show the other night when my daughter-in-law birthday came up. She knew all the characters.
The series centers round Detective Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay), who was maybe perhaps not the best person to be approximately. cheap research papers I was shocked if she turned to that police officer who was both cruel. She had been a cop from your beginning.
Dr. John E. Reid was once the leader of the team detective that was hired to find the case of the death of a child named Daniel on the train tracks. He was still a loner at the start, until one day he made his first friend, the team’s newest member, Kate Beckett (Katey Sagal).
Along side her support and prep purpose, she helps direct the people to become. In the future, the two become a few of as she falls in love . He’s great boyfriend and consistently keeps their relationship secret by his wife, Rachel (Melissa George).
The series follows the group because they decide to make an effort to catch serial killer Frank Rybak (John Turturro). Where a lot of drugs are now consumed, They’re after the massive heroin ring in nyc. As they fulfilled whilst he had been out on bail, olivia never been around Rybak. After they arrested him for his own ex-wife’s murder A good deal of them grew close to him.
She is an excellent investigator and shows her emotions during the show but it doesn’t hold back the things she does when doing her job. Everyone wanted to see her fall but this is what happens when you have a heart that is compassionate. She can’t stop thinking about what she saw in that locker room.
This show focuses alot on her relationship with all fellow member Detective Michael Walsh (Steve Zahn). He is engaged to become married into an actress. But at the start of show they are consistently paired.
Their next case involves the case of a serial killer that was committed by a mentally ill stalker, Stacy Hudson (Sarah Michelle Gellar). Olivia gets close to Hudson because she believes that he is her good side. However, as time goes by she realizes that he is actually a psychotic stalker that wants to hurt Hudson and when he is brought to justice she is the only one who can stop him.
The show takes some pretty controversial topics into consideration like jealousy, pity, love, and love lost and a popular psychology. It also looks at issues that the society deals with such as disability, self-esteem, and victimization. It does touch on many popular issues in society and no one ever wants to miss the show’s next episode.
Amanda Warren is amazing women. She was my favorite character, although the show did not really take her out of the equation. She was still one of the main players on the show.
If you have not watched the show yet, I highly recommend it. You can catch it on Showtime. But there is so much more that this show is dealing with like abuse and family dynamics.
